Orphan Care Success Story — Dear Jenifer and BWA,
Receive greetings from us here at the Lewa Children's Home. We are all fine and we celebrated Christmas well. Jenifer, we participated in a workshop, which lasted for three weeks. There were a total of nineteen participants ages 9 to 16.
During the workshop we learned a lot. The main lessons were human growth and development, HIV/AIDS, discovering our bodies, spiritual guidance and life experiences from different speakers. With the knowledge and skills we gained, we hope to put them into practice and be role models to our young brothers and sisters. We had time to reflect on our past, focus on the present and plan for our future.
Thanks a lot Jenifer for availing such a workshop for us. We gained a lot and through this our lives will never be the same again. We want to take care of ourselves, be fruitful in the society and be role models to the others. Thank you once more and God bless you!
