 Not only has Bread and Water for Africa®’s International Spokesperson, Phyllis Keino, been mother to over 400 children since she first started her community outreach in 1964, but so many of our programs are managed by amazing women who have dedicated their lives to the wellbeing and care of disadvantaged orphans and children. Their unconditional love and tireless resolve to strengthen their communities - one child at a time - is an inspiration to us all. This year, as we prepare to honor our own mothers, you can also send Phyllis, Margaret, Esther, or Angela a personal note to honor and thank them for being a mother to so many of Africa's children.
