Program Goal: To provide clean water and educate about the importance of clean water for the prevention of diseases and the safe use and collection of water. Also to provide opportunities for income generating activities for women and children.
Program Services Provided: Clean water and income generation.
Number of Program Beneficiaries: 1,500 individuals

Program Summary:
One deep water well was dug and taps put into place and a well at Nambala village was protected in Central Uganda. The program worked with local women to institute clean water health practices and provided 3,000 chicks for an income generating program benefitting 120 women and children.

Personal Story

Water is Life - Bamboghera's Story, Uganda - Bamboghera is now 30 years old with a wife and three children. His father died when he was young and his early life was difficult as there was little provision for his care and education.

"Many of our people have started a new life in terms of safe water and in their small agricultural and livestock keeping. This helps our people to have 'abundant life'."
