Farming God’s Way (FGW), also known as conservation agriculture, is practiced by our partner, Faithful Heart Foundation (FHF). FGW promotes soil conservation through no-tilling, crop rotation, and mulch cover, enhancing productivity while mitigating climate change and soil degradation.
Alex Steven Bango, Chairperson of FHF, selects local farmers experiencing food shortages to participate in FGW training. This aims to foster self-reliance and restore soil fertility affected by climate change. Participants also learn optimal crop cultivation timings and best practices for raising livestock.
Funding from Bread and Water for Africa ensures that FHF can continue to help Malawi ‘Farm God’s Way’.

Our funding towards FHF is empowering Malawi to ‘Farm God's Way’ (FGW). Alex Steven Bango, Chairperson of FHF, emphasizes that the training's objective is to transition from conventional farming to Biblical principles, thereby improving livelihoods. FGW promotes techniques like no-tilling, crop rotation, and mulch cover to address climate change effects and enhance productivity.
Alex's plan is to train 30 farmers, comprising 20 women and 10 men, with a focus on those facing food shortages. The goal is to cultivate self-reliance, diminish reliance on food aid, and rejuvenate soil fertility impacted by climate change.
Funding from Bread and Water for Africa ensures that FHF can continue to help Malawi ‘Farm God’s Way’.
